Project description:

We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst with German language proficiency at C1 level to join a project within the banking sector. This is a high-priority recruitment need for our client. We are particularly interested in candidates who combine strong business analysis skills with an understanding of banking processes and are comfortable working in an international, German-speaking environment.

Requirements:

  • german language proficiency at C1 level – mandatory
  • good command of English
  • experience in gathering and documenting business requirements
  • ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • experience working in complex IT environments
  • good understanding of the software development lifecycle
  • ability to work independently as well as within a cross-functional team

Nice to have:

  • previous experience in the banking or financial services sector – strongly preferred
  • knowledge of banking processes, products or systems
  • experience working with international clients and distributed teams
  • experience in Agile/Scrum environments

Main responsibilities:

As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams, supporting the analysis and delivery of solutions for the banking domain. Your responsibilities will include:

  • gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements
  • translating business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
  • working closely with business stakeholders, development teams and other project participants
  • facilitating discussions and workshops to clarify requirements and business processes
  • analysing existing processes and identifying areas for improvement
  • preparing business and functional documentation
  • supporting the development team throughout the implementation process
  • ensuring that delivered solutions are aligned with business requirements
  • communicating with German-speaking stakeholders on a regular basis
  • supporting effective cooperation between business and IT teams
