Job Responsibilities :

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, create automation strategies, and enhance continuous integration and deployment processes. Your role involves maintaining test scripts, analysing results, and driving improvements in automation efficiency while mentoring junior engineers.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and Maintain Test Automation Frameworks – Design, implement, and optimize scalable test automation solutions for functional and regression test
  • Create and Execute Automated Test Scripts – Develop automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium and PHPUnit.
  • Collaborate with Development Teams – Work closely with developers, and product team to identify test scenarios and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Enhance Test Coverage – Identify gaps in test coverage and improve automated testing for APIs, UI, and backend systems.
  • Perform Code Reviews and Debugging – Review automation scripts, troubleshoot test failures, and suggest improvements.
  • Monitor and Analyze Test Results – Track test execution, analyze failures, and report defects while ensuring timely resolution.
  • Deployment monitoring – To ensures that applications function correctly after deployment, minimizing risks and ensuring system stability
  • Mentor and Train Team Members – Provide guidance and mentorship to junior QA engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks such as Selenium and PHPUnit
  • Strong programming skills in Java, PHP or C# for test automation.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab).
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Experience mentoring junior team members is a plus.
