Full description

This is a great opportunity to join Aptitude as a Senior DevOps Engineer (L3) in Wrocław, working within the platform engineering and operations function for Fynapse, our SaaS product hosted for clients around the world. You'll join a team of 5 DevOps Engineers, helping build and maintain reliable, secure infrastructure while gaining exposure to a wide range of cloud, automation and observability technologies alongside experienced colleagues in the team.

You'll have the opportunity to deepen your platform engineering expertise and support day-to -day operations.

  • You will work on platform engineering: building and maintaining reliable infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows, while ensuring the high availability, performance and cost-efficiency of cloud resources.
  • You will carry operational responsibility for infrastructure management, monitoring and incident response, including participating in implementing alerting and observability best practices, incident resolution and taking part in an on-call rotation.
  • On the security side, you will partner with the security team to apply DevSecOps principles, ensuring systems meet compliance standards
  • You will collaborate closely with engineering teams on cross-team project shaping, incident resolution and knowledge sharing.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

Essential

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, platform engineering or SRE with at least 2 years in Azure
  • Hands-on expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools Terraform/OpenTofu. 
  • Experience with DevOps methodologies, tools (e.g. GitHub Actions), and practices, including CI/CD (e.g. Kargo), Terraform, Kubernetes and horizontal scaling. 
  • Strong understanding of Azure services and best practices for cloud architecture. 
  • Experience managing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized environments. 
  • Engineering background with microservices and Kubernetes experience. 
  • Experience in infrastructure and workloads monitoring and logging with use of Azure Services and Grafana stack
  • Experience responding to and resolving incidents under pressure (on-call rotation)

Nice to have

  • Experience with tools such as Argo CD, Crossplane, Kargo, Jenkins, GitHub Actions. 
  • Azure Certification: Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Fundamentals, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are a strong plus. 
  • Experience with AWS cloud platforms is a plus.
