- Seeking a Senior Java AWS Developer with strong expertise in Java Spring Boot AWS Kafka Microservices and cloud native application development The role requires technical leadership architecture ownership mentoring and delivery of scalable secure and high availability enterprise solutions
Key Responsibilities
- Lead application architecture design and technical decision making
- Design and develop microservices and REST APIs using Java 1721 Spring Boot Spring Framework Spring Batch and Hibernate JPA
- Build secure applications utilizing OAuth2 and enterprise security frameworks
- Design deploy and support cloud native solutions on AWS EC2 ECS EKS Lambda CloudWatch EMR Kinesis CDK
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform CloudFormation and Ansible
- Build CICD pipelines using Jenkins GitLab CI or similar tools
- Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Develop event driven solutions using Kafka RabbitMQ IBM MQ and Kinesis
- Design and optimize databases including Oracle PostgreSQL DynamoDB and NoSQL platforms
- Lead production support incident management performance tuning and system monitoring using Splunk Datadog Dynatrace and CloudWatch
Mentor teams conduct code reviews and collaborate with architects product owners and business stakeholders
Required Skills Experience:
- Expert in Java 1721 Spring Boot Spring Framework Hibernate JPA and Microservices Architecture
- Extensive AWS cloud development and solution design experience
- Strong hands on experience with Kafka and distributed systems
- Expertise in CICD DevOps release automation Docker Kubernetes and OpenShift
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs TDD JUnit BDD Cucumber, Karate and Drools Rule Engine
- Advanced SQL database design and performance optimization skills
- Experience leading Agile Scrum teams
Linux administration and shell scripting knowledge
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Developer Certification
- Experience with React or Angular
- Exposure to largescale distributed platforms and cloud modernization initiatives
- Handson Open Shift Kubernetes administration experience
- Experience in Financial Services Banking or Payments domains
Soft Skills:
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proven team leadership and mentoring experience
- Strategic thinking with strong business acumen
- Ability to influence architecture and technology decisions
- Strong ownership accountability and problem solving skills
Experience Level:
- 12 to 15 years of software engineering experience
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: [$106230 to $145000]
