Reports To: General Manager

We're hiring a Mitigation Project Manager to oversee water, fire, mold, and contents projects from first notice of loss through completion. You'll manage customer communication, field operations, documentation, budgets, and claim compliance while ensuring projects move efficiently and customers feel supported. This will be a foundational role in a growing franchise.

 

What does a Mitigation Project Manager with Paul Davis do?

  • Manage mitigation projects from initial loss through dry-out and transition to reconstruction.
  • Conduct inspections, define scopes, and coordinate crews, equipment, and vendors.
  • Maintain complete project documentation, including photos, moisture logs, daily notes, and compliance records.
  • Communicate with customers, property managers, adjusters, and stakeholders throughout the project.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, change conditions, and project closeout.
  • Partner with office staff to support billing and collections.
  • Manage crews including hiring and development
  • Given emergency services nature of role, flexible hours (nights / weekend) expected.

Qualifications:

Required

  • Experience managing mitigation and repairs projects in NYC 
  • Significant experience with water, fire, mold, and contents
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors, schedules, and job sequencing
  • Proficiency with technology and adaptability to new software
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • IICRC certification (at least WRT)
  • 2-3 years of managing restoration projects end to end

Preferred

  • Restoration or insurance-related construction experience
  • Estimating experience or familiarity with Xactimate and Cotality (a plus, not required)
  • Additional IICRC certifications (ASD, FSRT)

  • Competitive base salary
  • Uncapped earning potential with performance-based incentive tied to completed, profitable projects
  • Full-time role with variable field schedule based on active projects
