A multinational defence organisation in Braine-l'Alleud runs its applications on aRancher-managed Kubernetes platform across its own data centres and the cloud. It needs anengineer who sits between the development teams and the infrastructure, and makes the path toproduction short, automated and safe. Fully on site.
What you would be doing
- Administering the container platform on SUSE Rancher Prime and working directly withdevelopment teams to bring their applications into production
- Designing, building and looking after CI/CD pipelines that automate testing, integrationand delivery end to end
- Provisioning hybrid infrastructure, on premises and in the cloud, as code
- Putting monitoring, logging and alerting in place so the platform stays reliable andfast
- Building security and compliance controls into the pipelines and configurationsthemselves
- Untangling hard integration and deployment problems across several agile teams
What you would bring
- Five or more years in DevOps or automated platform management
- Hands-on Kubernetes, Rancher, RKE2 and Docker administration
- CI/CD and GitOps with GitLab, ArgoCD or Jenkins, and solid version control habits
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, configuration automation with Ansible
- VMware plus at least one of Azure, AWS or GCP
- Bash or Python scripting, and Prometheus, Grafana and ELK for observability
- A track record of delivering across teams in fast-moving Agile settings, and professionalEnglish
