This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) Full Stack Sênior (Node.js, PHP & React) based in Brazil.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will take ownership of production support requests, investigate technical issues, and deliver effective solutions across backend and frontend systems. You will also contribute to new features and continuous improvements using Node.js, PHP/Laravel, and React.js. AI-powered development tools, including Claude and Claude Code, will be an integral part of your workflow, helping you accelerate debugging, coding, testing, and documentation. Working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and requesters, you will ensure clear communication, reliable delivery, and a positive support experience. Accountabilities

• Production support and troubleshooting: Manage support requests from initial investigation through resolution, identifying root causes and implementing fixes across backend and frontend applications.

• End-to-end ownership: Take responsibility for assigned tickets, independently gathering the necessary information, coordinating activities, and ensuring issues are resolved efficiently.

• Stakeholder communication: Keep requesters, business stakeholders, and leadership informed through clear updates on progress, expected timelines, business impact, risks, and potential blockers.

• Full stack development: Build, maintain, and enhance applications using Node.js for backend services, PHP/Laravel for server-side development, and React.js for frontend functionality.

• Feature development and continuous improvement: Deliver new features and technical enhancements that improve application functionality, performance, reliability, and maintainability.

• AI-assisted engineering: Use tools such as Claude and Claude Code to accelerate technical investigations, generate and refine code, review implementations, and produce documentation.

• Code quality and collaboration: Participate in code reviews, follow established pull request workflows, and comply with team standards for testing, integration, and deployment.

• Incident documentation: Record the root causes, troubleshooting steps, and solutions associated with support requests to improve knowledge sharing and prevent recurring issues.

• Operational efficiency: Identify recurring problems and recommend technical or process improvements that reduce support volume and increase system stability.

• Database management: Investigate database-related issues, optimize queries, and contribute to data modeling and performance improvements.

• Agile delivery: Manage changing priorities while balancing production support responsibilities with feature development in a Kanban-based workflow.

• Continuous learning and innovation: Explore emerging AI tools and development techniques, evaluate their practical value, and share effective approaches with the wider team.

Requirements

• More than 6 years of professional software development experience, with substantial experience working across the full stack.

• Strong backend development skills with Node.js, including the design, development, and maintenance of REST APIs.

• Practical experience with PHP and Laravel for backend application development and maintenance.

• Strong frontend development experience with React.js, including building and maintaining interactive web applications.

• Experience working with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL and/or Microsoft SQL Server, including SQL queries, data modeling, troubleshooting, and query performance analysis.

• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows, including pull requests and code reviews.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and established software delivery and deployment processes.

• Familiarity with Jira and agile project management practices, particularly Kanban.

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Claude Code, or comparable solutions as part of everyday engineering work.

• Proven experience in application maintenance and production support, including bug investigation, log analysis, root-cause identification, and production fixes.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues and solutions to both engineering teams and business stakeholders.

• A proactive communication style, including providing updates before being asked, reporting progress clearly, and flagging risks or blockers early.

• Strong autonomy and decision-making skills, with the ability to investigate issues independently and drive assigned requests through to completion.

• Adaptability and effective prioritization, with the ability to switch between incident resolution, maintenance, and feature development as business needs evolve.

• A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering reliable solutions and a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, Jest, or equivalent tools.

• Experience applying AI beyond code generation, including support-ticket analysis automation, automated test generation, and technical documentation.

• Interest in experimenting with emerging AI tools and sharing practical improvements to engineering workflows.
