Responsibilities
- Lead the Architecture & Engineering function across all product domains (e.g., corporate, leasing, property and data), defining technology direction and ensuring scalable, secure, and integrated solutions that support Hongkong Land's strategic priorities.
- Establish architecture standards, engineering practices, and governance frameworks to improve consistency, reusability, delivery quality, and operational efficiency across the technology landscape.
- Partner with Product Owners, Technology Business Partners, and business stakeholders to translate business objectives into technology roadmaps, solution designs, and delivery plans.
- Drive engineering excellence across architecture, software development, quality assurance, DevOps, and platform reliability, ensuring high-quality and resilient technology solutions.
- Oversee the delivery of enterprise technology capabilities and transformation initiatives, ensuring successful execution from solution design through implementation, release, and operational stabilization.
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, QA, DevOps, and platform reliability professionals, fostering a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and business partnership.
- Manage technology delivery capacity, budgets, vendors, and strategic resources, ensuring investments remain aligned with business priorities and long-term technology goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 12 years of progressive technology experience, including leadership responsibility of multidisciplinary teams across solution architecture, software engineering, and enterprise technology delivery.
- Strong understanding of enterprise applications, cloud technologies, integration architecture, software engineering practices, and platform operations.
- Demonstrated success in delivering large-scale technology transformation initiatives within complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior business and technology leaders and translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Experience within real estate, property management, finance, customer platforms, or data and analytics environments would be an advantage.
- Excellent command of both spoken and written English & Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
