Full description

We are looking for a Software QA Team Lead to join our Software and Automation Quality Assurance Department in Vilnius. In this role, you will drive the quality assurance strategy for three core software products that serve as the primary interface for our embedded devices. These critical platforms enable clients to configure hardware, extract and analyze data, evaluate key business parameters, etc. We’d love to walk you through all the details during the recruitment process!

Teltonika’s Telematics business unit develops and produces easy-to-use GPS tracking devices for effective fleet management across logistics, agriculture, car sharing, construction, and more. We use the latest technologies to set new standards for the telematics industry.

Your role is critical to our current expansion phase as we actively develop new features to enhance the user experience. We are looking for your mentorship and support for our SW team — sharing your knowledge and experience, challenging our thinking and decisions when needed, and helping the team grow in both technical expertise and operational maturity. Your guidance will help us make stronger decisions, raise the quality of our solutions, and ensure we continue to deliver exceptional speed, accuracy, and operational performance.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Software QA team through mentorship and regular supportive feedback, helping them to grow.
  • Coordinate testing activities (Agile/Scrum) to meet timelines, stakeholder expectations, and overall business objectives.
  • Drive test strategies for manual and automated testing across three domains simultaneously.
  • Help Your team hands-on with complex bugs and difficult team blockers when needed.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Developers during the design phase to help identify potential logic gaps at early stages.
  • Use Jira and Zephyr Scale daily to keep testing documentation organized and accessible.
  • Maintain awareness of QA workflows and ISO guidelines, helping the team stay compliant through continuous refinement based on data and insights.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis to provide developers with actionable insights, propose systemic corrective actions.
  • Initiate and implement improvements to testing methodologies, tools, and processes to boost daily efficiency.
  • Set and report quality KPIs and team performance to the senior management.

What we expect of you:

  • Strong leadership and people-management skills, ideally proven by test management or leadership roles.
  • Solid hands-on experience in executing a manual software QA and test automation strategy, ideally having scaled automation across more than one testing domain.
  • Ability to define and drive an automation-first quality roadmap, not just maintain existing processes.
  • Experience using test/quality analytics and metrics to drive decisions and report to leadership.
  • Professional working proficiency in Lithuanian and English.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Interest in electronics/IoT devices through personal or academic projects.
  • Any other relevant experience that you think makes you a great fit!

What we offer:

  • Great opportunities to grow in a strong and rapidly expanding company.
  • Interesting and ambitious projects of industrial GPS tracking devices.
  • Place where curiosity is key: here, we share knowledge and learn in training courses, conferences or business trips.
  • Dynamic, challenging work environment and cooperation-based internal culture.
  • Care about your emotional and physical well-being by offering flexible work schedules, hybrid work opportunities and health insurance.
  • Company-paid sports activities (basketball, football, volleyball, yoga) and other sports events.
  • Celebrating achievements and having fun together in team building, summer festivals, and other important occasions.
  • Opportunity for solid bonuses when participating in the recommendation program.
  • We delight with birthday and Christmas gifts and rewards on work anniversaries.
  • Office snacks.

Salary:

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 22 Eur/h up to 31 Eur/h (~3670 Eur—5170 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise, with the option to get bonuses.

*In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
