Are you an experienced data scientist who likes digging into complex data and turning what you find into strategies that shape business decisions?

If so, then you are in the right place!

We are looking for a driven Data Scientist to join our Analytics team and play a pivotal role in various phases, including: identifying business opportunities that can be tackled by Data Science, defining the goal and formalizing the problem, collaborating with other team members to develop solutions, implementing these solutions, and analyzing results to further understand the business impact.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Perform A/B tests and causal inference analyses in PvP games. Be involved in research and development phases, as well as testing cutting-edge methodologies in the domain of causal inference, such as: Econometrics, Bayesian AB testing, DoubleML, Structural Causal Modeling, etc. (~30%)
  • Utilize ML by building new or changing existing productional ML models and pipelines in order to provide a personalized experience to our users and support decision-making. (~25%)
  • Build elegant and scalable game systems, based on behavioural mathematics, game theory, and simulations. (~20%)
  • Be involved in defining telemetry tracking and designing DB schemas, working on ETL, performing ad hoc analyses and making reports, monitoring the performance of the game/features, and answering ad hoc data requests. (~15%)
  • Work on arbitrary business problems that can be solved by utilizing the DS toolbox including: forecasting KPIs and behaviours, developing data science standalone tools, performing Clustering, using Association rules, KL-Divergence, etc. (~10%)

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:

  • You’ll partner closely with the Product Manager, Game Designers, Developers and the rest of the game team to ensure that decisions are grounded in high-quality data, clear insights, and robust analytical methods.

WE ARE A MATCH IF YOU:

  • Have 3+ years of experience in Data Science or a related field
  • Have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, Statistics, Econometrics, or another quantitative fields
  • Write production-quality Python, Julia, R, and SQL
  • Have a strong grounding in statistics and machine learning
  • Communicate clearly in English, both in writing and when explaining results to non-technical people
  • Have passion for Data Science
