Technical Lead - Integration-Java - JSON

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned Technical Lead for its Smart Integration (API) – Delivery team. The role involves leading the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java‑based integration solutions, guiding architecture decisions across microservices, SOA, and cloud‑native environments, and collaborating closely with clients to translate business needs into robust, secure APIs.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop high‑performance Java APIs and integration services (REST, SOAP, OData).
• Lead a team of developers, providing mentorship, code reviews, and technical guidance.
• Design data models and implement solutions using relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Define and enforce security best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
• Drive CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) initiatives.
• Collaborate with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to design scalable, resilient solutions.
• Lead technical discussions and solution presentations with clients and stakeholders.
• Evaluate and integrate Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or comparable integration platforms.
• Establish architectural standards, design patterns, and documentation for the integration portfolio.
• Monitor production systems, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of software development experience, with at least 3–5 years in a senior or lead role.
• Strong proficiency in core Java and building scalable Java applications.
• Deep understanding of software design patterns, microservices, monolithic, SOA, and cloud‑native architectures.
• Hands‑on experience building and consuming REST, SOAP, and OData web services.
• Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases and data modeling.
• Knowledge of software security principles and ability to embed security into designs.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and associated architecture patterns.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or similar integration platforms (highly preferred).
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and technical leadership.
