Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Application Developer with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Oracle, along with working knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting scalable and stable enterprise applications. This role will participate throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), partnering closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality technology solutions.

The successful candidate will also contribute to application modernization, product enhancements, automation, and deployment strategies within a collaborative development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Oracle.

• Contribute to the complete application development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and solution design through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

• Collaborate with business partners and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.

• Participate in requirements analysis, application architecture, design, data modeling, coding, implementation, integration, and testing.

• Develop enhancements and new functionality for existing applications while maintaining application stability, performance, security, and scalability.

• Support application modernization and migration initiatives across Microsoft .NET platforms.

• Contribute to product development initiatives, including significant application redesigns and enhancements.

• Develop and improve application deployment strategies, including versioning, release management, and implementation processes.

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and reusable functional test libraries.

• Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes, including orchestration, scaling, and application management.

• Collaborate with cross-functional development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, database, and deployment issues.

Basic Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience designing and developing client- and server-based applications using Microsoft .NET technologies, including:

• C#

• ASP.NET

• ASP.NET MVC

• Web API

• Oracle

• 2+ years of experience migrating, modernizing, and developing applications using Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 through 4.8.

• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle database development, preferably Oracle 12c/19c.

• 2+ years of experience developing enterprise applications using Java/J2EE client and web technologies.

• 2+ years of experience applying core Java/J2EE technologies, including:

• JSP

• Servlets

• JSF

• JSTL

• EJB

• 2+ years of experience developing automated testing frameworks and reusable functional test libraries.

• 1+ year of experience with Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, orchestration, and management of Docker containers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the healthcare industry, particularly health plan implementation or healthcare payer environments.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture, development methodologies, and SDLC processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong customer-service orientation and the ability to understand business needs, address concerns, and develop practical technology solutions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within established timelines.

• Strong work ethic and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams.

• Comfortable leading technical discussions, working sessions, and stakeholder meetings.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team-oriented development environment.

Pay Transparency

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $75,168-$130,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
