What You’ll Be Contributing:
- Serve as the technical lead during the sales cycle, translating customer business and technical requirements into scalable, cost-effective solutions.
- Design comprehensive solutions for different projects including AI, HPC, compute, storage, networking, data center technologies and include professional services.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and the Support teams to develop technical strategies for customer opportunities and RFPs.
- Lead technical discovery sessions, workshops, and customer presentations to understand workloads, performance requirements, and business objectives.
- Create solution designs, bill of materials (BOMs), architecture diagrams, statements of work, network topology and other technical documentation.
- Validate solution feasibility, compatibility, performance, scalability, and deployment requirements.
- Provide technical guidance on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices for both customers and internal teams.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work with vendors and technology partners to evaluate new products, validate solutions, and resolve technical challenges.
- Support pricing, risk assessment, and solution optimization activities to ensure technical and commercial viability.
- Assist implementation and support teams during deployment, knowledge transfer, and issue resolution when required.
- Maintain deep expertise in technology while continuously expanding knowledge across adjacent solution areas, attend trainings and perform certifications.
- Contribute to solution portfolio development, technical enablement programs, and go-to-market initiatives.
- Ensure proposed solutions align with customer objectives, operational requirements, and organizational standards.
What Sets You Apart:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology related field;
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a directly related area, during which both professional and management capabilities have been clearly demonstrated;
- Technical experience in IT infrastructure, with increased knowledge of server architecture;
- Proven success in being able to move from strategy to execution (hands on experience);
- Proven success in delivering value using Enterprise Architecture methodologies;
- Proven success in communicating and influencing customers and stakeholders;
- Proven success in understanding company’s business strategy and being able to tie back IT services to business needs;
- Leadership skills to independently take initiative and to innovate as part of a team;
- Agility in reaching milestones and goals including knowledge of and practices in agile methods of delivery;
- Knowledge of computer manufacturing supply chain and sales cycle in the IT Industry is an asset.
