Overview

We are seeking a Network Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience to support enterprise and data center networking environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cisco, Juniper, NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand, routing and switching, and large-scale network architectures.

Your Impact

The essential functions of this position include:

  • Design, configure, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise and data center networks
  • Support Cisco and Juniper routing and switching environments
  • Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VXLAN, and Layer 2/Layer 3 networking
  • Work with large-scale data center network architectures, including spine-leaf and VXLAN environments
  • Perform network configuration, migration, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, routing, and switching issues
  • Collaborate with server, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure teams
  • Provide hands-on support during data center deployments and network implementation activities
  • Assist with physical networking activities, including cabling, port connectivity, labeling, and hardware installation/validation
  • Support VMware networking and integration with enterprise/data center infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain network documentation, diagrams, and configuration standards

Qualifications

  • 6 to 10 years of hands-on network engineering experience
  • Must be willing to travel to customer/data center locations as required
  • Strong experience with Cisco Enterprise Routing & Switching
  • Experience with Juniper networking platforms.
  • Deep expertise in BGP, OSPF, MPLS and VXLAN
  • Layer 2/Layer 3 routing and switching
  • Experience with NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand networking.
  • Strong understanding of data center and large-scale network architectures
  • Working knowledge of VMware networking and virtualization environments
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional infrastructure teams

Nice to have:

  • Support NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand networks, including switches, fabric configuration, and troubleshooting

Position & Travel

Position & Travel:

  • Position Type: Bay Area
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel to customer/data center locations as required
  • Data Center Support: Hands-on participation may be required for physical networking, hardware validation, cabling, and network deployment activities

Position Specifics

The initial base salary range for this position is expected to be between $150,000 and $170,000 annually. The final base salary offered will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, depth of experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. In addition to the base salary, our compensation structure includes variable pay through commissions based on individual sales performance. This means your earning potential can substantially increase based on your sales achievements.
