As a Technical Project Manager III at JPMorganChase within the Commercial and Investment Bank Digital and Platform Services team, you will lead complex technology programs from initiation through delivery and ongoing support. You will work closely with internal customers and cross-functional teams to define scope, manage governance, and deliver outcomes aligned to business priorities. You will use strong communication and stakeholder management to drive decisions, manage risks, and keep delivery on track. You will use your technical fluency across cloud, data center, and design and architecture fundamentals to translate needs into clear plans, remove blockers, and keep teams aligned.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive project and program plans, aligning scope, timelines, dependencies, resourcing, and delivery milestones
- Partner with internal customers to drive end-to-end delivery, including post-delivery follow-up, operational readiness, and ongoing maintenance planning
- Facilitate clear decision-making through strong governance, stakeholder communication, and transparent status reporting
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues, escalating appropriately and driving timely resolution
- Collaborate with software engineering, quality assurance, product, and operations partners to define deliverables and acceptance criteria
- Monitor progress against plan, adjust priorities and schedules as needed, and manage dependencies across teams
- Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate project planning and risk synthesis (e.g., drafting plans, RAID, and status narratives), validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirements.
- Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for project governance artifacts and reporting, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standards.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- 3+ years of applied experience in technical project or program management, leading complex technology initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and influence outcomes with senior stakeholders, cross-functional partners, and internal customers
- Proven experience managing end-to-end delivery across the project lifecycle, including scope, schedule, risk, dependencies, and governance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down business and technical objectives into actionable plans
- Technical fluency with modern platforms and delivery concepts, including progressing systems from prototype to production
- Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technical program management workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted plans, risks, and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and following data handling expectations.
- Experience partnering with technology operations teams to support production readiness, post-delivery follow-up, and continuous improvement activities
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building productive partnerships and driving aligned outcomes
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline
- Experience supporting platform, infrastructure, or shared services delivery organizations
- Experience with Agile delivery methods and associated tooling (for example, backlog and dependency management, iteration planning, and metrics)
