KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Job purpose
Join the Åmål plant Finance team as FP&A Analyst and help turn financial and operational information into focused actions for the business. This role supports planning, forecasting and management reporting, partners closely with Manufacturing and other plant functions, and improves the insight and controls that enable sound decisions and sustainable plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the plant budget and monthly forecasting process, with a strong focus on sales, manufacturing performance and key business assumptions.
- Support Engineering Function with financial reporting. Helping to drive accurate monthly forecast process.
- Prepare timely management reporting and clear analysis for the Åmål Finance and Manufacturing teams, explaining performance and key variances.
- Develop and continuously improve daily manufacturing reporting aligned with the plant operating model and production-unit requirements.
- Calculate and monitor bonded stock, excess and obsolete inventory provisions, and support accurate inventory-related financial reporting.
- Partner with Quality and Operations on analysis and provisions related to customer returns and warranty exposure.
- Support monthly, quarterly and year-end finance processes, ensuring deadlines, data quality and internal-control requirements are met.
- Build effective relationships with financial and non-financial stakeholders, translating operational data into actionable business insight.
What we’re looking for
Essential qualifications and experience
- University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field, or active progress toward a recognized professional finance qualification.
- Relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, forecasting or plant controlling, preferably in manufacturing.
- Advanced Excel skills and the ability to work confidently with financial and operational data; ERP experience is required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify practical process improvements.
- Able to manage several priorities, work with minimal guidance and deliver accurate output to demanding deadlines.
- Clear communicator and collaborative team player, comfortable partnering with Finance, Manufacturing, Quality and other non-finance stakeholders.
- Professional working proficiency in English; Swedish language capability is strongly preferred.
Desirable
- Experience with manufacturing KPIs, inventory provisions, fixed assets, business planning and an automotive or industrial environment.
