Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data center and critical infrastructure construction projects from planning through commissioning and turnover. This role is responsible for managing project scope, budget, schedule, risk, quality, procurement, contractor performance, and stakeholder communication while ensuring successful project execution and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of project delivery, including planning, construction, commissioning, startup, and closeout.
- Develop and manage project scope, schedules, budgets, cash flow, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate activities among clients, engineering teams, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, QA/QC, and commissioning teams.
- Oversee MEP systems, construction quality, safety, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Support procurement efforts, including RFP development, bid evaluation, contractor selection, and contract administration.
- Monitor project performance, identify schedule, cost, or technical risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, change orders, and technical construction documentation.
- Provide clear reporting and leadership while driving cross-functional collaboration and successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 7+ years of experience managing data center, mission-critical, or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, project controls, budgeting, scheduling, QA/QC, commissioning, and contractor management.
- Ability to interpret engineering and construction documents and manage complex technical projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with hyperscale data centers, critical infrastructure, or AWS environments preferred.

The salary range for this full-time role is $115,700.00-$201,900.04 per year. Ranges are determined based on the position, geography, client and industry experience and level, and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range reflects base salary only, and not the total compensation package. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
