OpsFi is a growing, boutique accounting and advisory firm servicing high growth clients in the tech industry. 

This role is a hybrid position based in the United States. Our client is an InsurTech firm based in California in the United States leveraging modern software platforms, AI risk modelling, and state-of-the-art hardware engineering to provide next-generation insurance solutions for B2C and B2B customers in the United States.  

We are looking to recruit a Support Representative to join their offshore division, that will work exclusively for their Customer Support team (i.e. fully integrated into their team and workflows). You will work on a hybrid model with global teams. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate across cross-border markets and work alongside a dynamic team building out cutting-edge products in the insurance and tech space.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will take ownership of the product lifecycle, translating business vision into actionable development tasks and ensuring engineering delivers high-value software. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Backlog & Sprint Management: Maintain, refine, and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories are clearly defined and ready for upcoming engineering sprints.
  • Requirements & Acceptance Criteria: Translate high-level business requirements and feature ideas into detailed user stories, technical specs, and clear acceptance criteria.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary bridge between executive leadership, engineering, QA, and operational teams to align delivery timelines with business goals.
  • Feature Validation & UAT: Partner with QA to conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), ensuring delivered features meet all functional requirements before release.
  • Workflow & Platform Enhancement: Continuously evaluate platform features, API integrations, and internal tools to identify opportunities for workflow automation and improved user experience.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Product Owner, Technical BA, or Associate Product Manager in a modern software environment.
  • Technical Skills: Strong experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks, backlog management tools (Jira, Confluence), and defining technical feature specifications.
  • Core Competencies: Good grasp of web platform architecture, API integrations, and data-driven software tools. Ability to simplify complex business logic for technical teams.
  • Mindset: Highly organised, decisive, and structured, with strong problem-solving skills and a bias for execution in a fast-moving environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or equivalent practical experience.
