It’s the diversity of those people and their ideas that inspires the innovation that runs through everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. At Apple, inclusion is a shared responsibility, and we work together to foster a culture where everyone belongs and is inspired to do their best work.
Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple’s largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. To run such an extraordinary store, it takes extraordinary people, and we are looking for someone to help us do extraordinary things.
Our UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Project Management team ensures that our online offerings work as designed and deliver the magical experiences we intend. This team understands our systems deeply and owns the functional and end-to-end testing lifecycle — creating test strategy and testing frameworks, mobilizing cross-functional teams from test planning through execution, and providing quality sign-off prior to project go-live. As a UAT Project Manager, you will direct and drive medium to large-sized UAT programs spanning both regional and global cross-functional teams, with direct impact on one of the world's largest e-commerce sites. This role places you in a highly energized environment alongside some of the most hardworking, creative individuals in the industry — where you'll be inspired to build on your years of experience while delivering extraordinary work with an amazing team!
Description
You will manage, plan, and organize activities and tasks throughout UAT planning and execution, developing deep subject matter expertise in E2E customer journeys, business processes, and impacted systems.
In this role, you will:
Dynamically develop and drive comprehensive cross-functional UAT strategies. Collaborate across multiple UAT partner teams, aligning efforts to drive cohesive outcomes. Provide forward-thinking, goal-oriented direction through effective communication, even in the face of ambiguity. Direct test resources required for successful project execution, while shaping UAT management processes in line with industry best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
4+ years in UAT/QA/Quality e-commerce (online/marketplaces) transactional testing and project management experience, navigating complex, integrated systems with aggressive timelines in both Waterfall and Agile landscapes. A strong understanding of the SDLC, with UAT/QA/IT/Quality experience within an e-commerce or contact-center-based organization (e.g., user experience/web front-end, transactional back-end, or contact center applications). Proficiency in test planning and scripting, managing test execution through sign-off. Experience with manual and automation test strategies to drive test efficiency. BA/BS degree in a business or technical field, or 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
7+ years of professional experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), in a PM or lead capacity. Experienced with AI/ML validations, test automation capabilities and test scripting processes. An excellent communicator who sees around corners, identifies potential areas of concern, has a sense of urgency, and can rally teams to review and mitigate risk. Quality-focused and deeply technical, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Exhibits a genuine passion for innovation, shown through creative strategies and continuous process improvement. PMP Certification or SAP experience is a plus.
