We are currently seeking a Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad, Telangana (IN-TG), India (IN).

Strong DB2 DBA resource working on z/OS having 6+ years of experience on the below areas:

• Proven expertise in administering DB2 databases on z/OS .

• Experience in creating and managing DB2 objects like Databases Tablespace Tables and Indexes, resizing, right buffer pool assignments and lock size modifications in Production and Development regions.

• Experience with data maintenance utilities and DBA tools, scheduling tools.

• Experience in Performance tuning, backup/recovery procedures, security, and high availability.

• Experience in capacity planning, Space/memory Management and Monitoring.

• Experience in optimization of DB2 objects, queries, buffer pools, and system resources etc for maximum efficiency.

• Provide 24/7 On-call support for production system on rotation basis to handle DB2 job abends and issues.

• Support for DB2 upgrade, migration activities and DR and perform checkouts from DBA end

• Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to work independently.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.

• Knowledge of best practices in database management.

• Good to have experience/knowledge on Microsoft SSIS, SQL Server and Azure Cloud exposure.
