The Euclid Chemical Company is seeking an experienced Admixture Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and commercialization of our concrete chemical admixture portfolio. This role is responsible for driving product lifecycle management, market positioning, and profitability of plasticizers, superplasticizers, accelerators, retarders, air-entraining agents, water reducers, and specialty admixtures used in ready-mix, precast, and infrastructure applications. The successful candidate will serve as the primary interface between R&D, technical service, sales, marketing, and customers to deliver high-performance, value-added solutions that meet evolving construction industry demands. The Admixture Product Manager is expected to demonstrate an enthusiastic commitment to providing industry-leading service and support to internal and external Euclid Chemical customers. They should also be dedicated to personal growth in product knowledge and industry experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide service and support for the Euclid Chemical admixture product lines
- Assist in product troubleshooting by proactively coordinating testing and analysis activities between sales representatives, customers, Product Managers, R&D/product development, and operations.
- Assist in the development of next generation sales tools such as product comparative guides, certification letters, product calculators, concrete mix design tools etc.; formats include paper-based, web-based, and/or electronic tools.
- Actively participate and complete tasks efficiently within the company’s Corporate Initiatives
- Interact as a reliable peer especially to product managers and assistants, marketing communication staff, sales representatives, customer service, business development, R&D/product development, and the operations group.
- Lead new product development projects from concept through commercialization in close collaboration with R&D, manufacturing, and regulatory teams; manage stage-gate processes and prioritization.
- Monitor product performance, quality, and profitability; recommend portfolio rationalization or line extensions as needed.
- Track regulatory developments (ASTM, EN, local standards) and ensure products remain compliant; support certification and approval processes.
- Maintain electronic product technical files.
- Help plan and provide product training and demonstrations to organization/customers.
- Occasional travel to construction jobsites or customer locations to provide product support and travel to participate in industry and Trade organizations/associations may be required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Civil Engineering, Marketing or a closely related field
- 5+ years of progressive experience in product management, technical sales, or application development within construction chemicals, concrete admixtures, or related specialty chemicals.
- Solid understanding of concrete technology, mix design principles, and the functional chemistry of admixtures (polycarboxylate ethers, lignosulfonates, etc.).
- Proven track record of successfully launching or managing industrial chemical products and driving revenue growth.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, value selling, and competitive positioning.
- Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 15–30%) to customer sites, plants, and industry events.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct experience with ready-mix or precast concrete producers.
- Knowledge of sustainability trends (CO₂ reduction, recycled materials, low-clinker cements) and how admixtures support them.
- Understanding of the use of concrete admixtures, fiber reinforcement, testing of materials and/or concrete technology is desired.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- 4-year Bachelor of Sciences/Engineering or concrete technology related experience/education.
- Understanding of the use of concrete admixtures, fiber reinforcement, testing of materials and/or concrete technology is desired.

SALARY: $75,000 - $90,000 plus annual bonus program based on % of salary (determined by education and experience)
