We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in DevOps, Linux, and AWS to design, implement, automate, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing Linux-based systems, AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, monitoring, security, and production operations. You will work closely with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, scalability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux servers, system services, networking, storage, and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated application build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, ELB, Auto Scaling, Route 53, and EKS.
• Implement and maintain containerised environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Configure monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to maintain infrastructure health.
• Identify and resolve infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application-support issues.
• Perform root-cause analysis for production incidents and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Implement security best practices across AWS, Linux, infrastructure, access management, and deployment pipelines.
• Manage infrastructure changes, patching, upgrades, backups, and system maintenance.
• Improve system availability, scalability, performance, and resource utilisation.
• Support disaster recovery, backup, high-availability, and business-continuity initiatives.
• Collaborate with developers and QA teams to improve deployment workflows and release automation.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, operational procedures, architecture diagrams, and runbooks.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational activities and improve engineering efficiency.
• Participate in incident response, on-call support, and production troubleshooting when required.
• Contribute to cloud cost optimisation and effective resource management across AWS environments.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, system administration, or related engineering roles.
• Strong practical expertise in DevOps, Linux, and AWS.
• Strong experience administering Linux environments, including troubleshooting, shell scripting, processes, networking, storage, and system performance.
• Hands-on experience designing and managing AWS cloud infrastructure and core AWS services.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, release automation, and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or comparable Infrastructure as Code technologies.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, load balancing, firewalls, and VPC networking.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar platforms.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
• Good understanding of cloud security, IAM, secrets management, patching, and access controls.
• Experience supporting production environments and handling incidents, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Understanding of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, scalability, and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with Git, Git-based workflows, and modern DevOps engineering practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with development, QA, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to independently manage infrastructure and operational responsibilities.
