About the Role:
The Commercial FP&A team is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst who will focus on expense management for the broader Commercial organization. They will provide analytical support to an FP&A Manager to support data-driven decision making. We are looking for candidates with strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to deliver actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain financial models to analyze sales and services productivity, supporting both short- and long-term planning
- Prepare executive-level financial reports, including monthly forecast variance analysis and commentary
- Support headcount planning by tracking hiring needs, workforce expenses, and collaborating with HR and business leaders
- Identify and recommend cost-saving opportunities, evaluating their impact on revenue and business objectives
- Track, analyze, and report on key metrics, including headcount costs, travel & entertainment, and Professional Services expenses
- Automate and continuously improve recurring processes related to expense tracking and reporting
- Reconcile revenue and expense data across multiple financial systems, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and insights to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business needs, and help drive accountability
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 1+ years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, or related analytical roles, preferably in SaaS or technology
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets
- Experience with financial planning tools (e.g. Adaptive, Anaplan, OneStream)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of SaaS business models, forecasting, and commission planning
- Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders to drive business results
- Background in AdTech, headcount planning, or commission forecasting
