Benefits
Full description
Ciklum is looking for a Senior User Researcher to join our team full-time in Brazil.
We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. With a global team of over 4,000 highly skilled developers, consultants, analysts and product owners, we engineer technology that redefines industries and shapes the way people live.
About the role:
As a Senior User Researcher, become a part of our global team, to help businesses shape their strategy and bring to life products that win people’s hearts. You will have a chance to work across diverse industries and product lifecycles, partnering with some of the world’s most recognisable brands.
Bringing an experimental yet rigorous mindset, you will define the unknowns, challenge assumptions, and collaborate with stakeholders at every level to disrupt markets with new products or transform existing experiences, through customer-driven evidence.
Responsibilities:
- Own user research stream on the project: from spotting opportunities through planning, user recruitment and execution, to helping the team prioritise and embed insight into the product
- Set up and manage user research process throughout discovery and delivery of a project, ensuring it fits seamlessly within agile workflows
- Conduct various types of research, depending on the context: exploratory, assessment, evaluative, quantitative and qualitative
- Collaborate with the design and product team to action the insights and embed them into strategy, roadmap and solutions
- Participate in enhancing the practice with the wider user research team: contribute to guidelines, knowledge sharings, supporting people who do research
- Consult presale teams on user research approaches for potential new projects, if needed
Requirements:
- Well-versed in core user research methods and able to execute them independently; this is the minimum expectation for the role before we look at advanced skills
- An experimental mindset combined with rigour: you are comfortable trying new tools and approaches, while knowing the true value of user research and guardrails
- Proven experience assessing and validating early product concepts with various methods, not only interviews
- Skilled in defining customer segmentation across various markets
- Experience with recruiting participants for research
- A star facilitator, known for leading workshops, design sprints, and co-creation sessions that spark creativity and build alignment
- Strong sense of ownership and the drive to move work forward without waiting to be asked. You thrive on minimal direction: we’ll support you, but we want you to be the one moving things forward
- Stellar communication: advising, negotiating, and effectively collaborating with stakeholders at all levels
- Able to connect the dots and create compelling, evidence-led narratives that impact the way stakeholders think, build empathy for customers and guide product decisions
- Strong at managing priorities and deadlines: ready to stay organised and adaptable when things get busy or change direction
- Well-versed in tools that streamline research: Maze, Dovetail or similar tools for synthesis, repositories, unmoderated testing etc.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a standalone user research role
What`s in it for you?
- Care: your mental and physical health is our priority. We ensure comprehensive company-paid medical insurance and mental health programs, 5 undocumented sick-leave days per year
- Tailored education path: boost your skills and knowledge with our regular internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy license, language courses and company-paid certifications
- Growth environment: share your experience and level up your expertise with a community of skilled professionals, locally and globally
- Long-term employment with 20 working-days paid vacation and local bank holidays
- Flexibility: 100% remote work mode
- Opportunities: we value our specialists and always find the best options for them. Our Internal Mobility Program helps change a project if needed to help you grow, excel professionally and fulfill your potential
- Global impact: work on large-scale projects that redefine industries with international and fast-growing clients
- Welcoming environment: feel empowered with a friendly team, open-door policy, informal atmosphere within the company and regular team-building events
