How Your Role Makes a Difference
- Assist in the development and maintenance of MS Fabric products (Power BI Reports, Data Models, Lakehouse/Warehouse pipelines, etc.) according to designs;
- Identify and resolve problems uncovered by testing and/or user feedback, or refer problems to appropriate subject matter experts;
- Manage project tasks and milestones in line with departmental sprint / scrum guidelines;
- Work effectively with business end-users to understand requirements, develop specifications, and implement enhancements during product introduction;
- Produce user guides and other documentation to support business end-user utilization;
- Collaborate with analysts, quality assurance staff, and other data champions across the business to grow the business intelligence culture and capacity;
- Assist with the development of data driven presentations to support business strategy and increase the adoption and utilization of metrics and reporting across the organization;
- Recommend and implement performance improvements approved by senior management;
- Respond to and investigate tickets that have been escalated to the Business Intelligence team from the help desk;
- Produce user guides and other documents to support business end-user utilization and provide technical assistance to business end-users for the duration of the product life cycle;
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in the field of business intelligence and analytics;
- Essential job responsibilities may vary based on the specific needs of each program/department;
- May be required or asked to participate in a Bethany sponsored event;
- Complete other duties as assigned.
What Will Make You Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, information systems management, or related field of study from an accredited college;
- 2 - 5 years of professional experience in business intelligence field;
- Proficient in and current knowledge of SQL, Python, MS Fabric, Power BI;
- Agile project management skills;
- Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative;
- Demonstrated ability to work in an organized, detailed, and cooperative manner;
- Exercise a high level of confidentiality;
- Computer skills sufficient to perform essential functions including knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite;
- Must be 21 years old with a valid driver's license with at least 3 years driving experience in the U.S. to operate a vehicle on behalf of Bethany;
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check and maintain a reliable vehicle with proof of adequate coverage;
- Pass a criminal history screen, including state and local child protection agency registries;
- Subscription to and integration of the agency Statement of Faith, Mission Statement, and Commitment to Unity.
