About AiPrise

AiPrise is a YC-backed, Series A company building the global compliance infrastructure for financial services. We help banks, fintechs, cross-border payment providers, stablecoin and crypto companies, and marketplaces gain a 360° view of every business they onboard, anywhere in the world.

Through a single integration, we connect 800+ data sources and 80+ verification partners across 200+ countries, powering KYB, KYC, AML, sanctions screening, and ongoing monitoring for companies like Meta, Airwallex, Fireblocks, and Bridge.

Our AI Agents help compliance teams do more with less, resolving more cases, catching more fraud, and scaling operations without scaling headcount.

We're ~60 people, Series A funded, and obsessed with a single problem: making compliance feel simple for the teams who live in it every day.

Borders shouldn't be blockers. Compliance is hard. AiPrise shouldn't be.

The Role

As a Product Designer II at AiPrise, you'll own design for a defined feature area of our compliance platform end to end, turning complicated processes, data, and decisions into clear, intuitive experiences.

Our platform serves compliance analysts reviewing flagged cases, compliance managers configuring the rules that decide what gets flagged, business customers completing verification for the first time, and our own Forward-Deployed Engineering team standing up and supporting customer workflows. Depending on where you're working, you'll design for several of them.

You'll work with product and engineering to take defined problems from discovery through launch. The problem and its owner will be clear; how it gets solved is where you come in. We move fast and share work early, so expect feedback from customers and teammates to shape your designs while they're still taking form.

You'll partner closely with product and engineering, with enough proximity to leadership to see why decisions get made and how your work lands with customers. Our priorities and processes will keep evolving as we grow, so you'll prioritize your own work with limited oversight and change course when new information arrives.

What You'll Do

Design Judgment

  • Make design decisions independently within your feature area, applying and extending our design system where it needs to stretch.
  • Weigh user needs, design quality, delivery speed, business priorities, and technical constraints, and catch usability problems before they reach engineering.
  • Build working domain expertise in the compliance and verification workflows your feature area touches, deep enough to connect your day-to-day design work to roadmap goals and explain how it ladders up to quarterly objectives.

Execution

  • Own medium-complexity projects end to end, from discovery and exploration through final design, implementation, and launch, with minimal oversight.
  • Create clear user flows, prototypes, final designs, and documentation, anticipating edge cases and the non-happy paths that make compliance software either trustworthy or infuriating.

Customer & Data Insights

  • Combine customer conversations, usability testing, and product analytics to validate design decisions and identify problems worth solving, rather than only responding to the feedback in front of you.
  • Work with internal teams who sit closest to customers to pressure-test what you're seeing in the data.

Communication & Influence

  • Partner closely with product and engineering to clarify the problem, requirements, constraints, and measures of success.
  • Explain your design rationale clearly, contribute confidently in product and planning discussions, and keep stakeholders current on progress, risks, and open questions.
  • Help newer designers get better, through design reviews, feedback, and pairing on tricky problems.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years as a product designer, with a track record of shipping features and workflows to customers.
  • Experience designing complex B2B, enterprise, fintech, compliance, identity, fraud, risk, or other data-heavy products, where the hard part was the information and not the interface.
  • A portfolio that shows how you frame problems, use research and data, explore solutions, and make design decisions, not just the final screens.
  • Fluency in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and prototyping, with the attention to edge cases and implementation quality that complex products demand.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, and a collaborative approach to working with product managers and engineers.
