WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

Your main challenge

As a Graphic Designer at Gameloft Barcelona, you will help bring our games and brands to life beyond the game itself, creating high-quality visual assets for marketing, communication and promotional purposes.

Working under the supervision of the Studio Lead UI Artist, you will combine strong graphic design fundamentals with creativity and attention to detail to deliver engaging visuals while also providing graphic support to our local UI team.

What it means on a daily basis

  • Create high-quality marketing and outgame assets that reinforce the visual identity of our games.
  • Design online advertising materials, banners and other promotional assets.
  • Create visually engaging presentations and communication materials.
  • Produce original graphic compositions, working with framing, perspective, colour and visual hierarchy.
  • Create photomontages, 2D visual effects and image retouching.
  • Work with typography, composition and colour to deliver polished final assets.
  • Use a graphics tablet for drawing, painting and retouching when required.
  • Adapt your work to different formats while maintaining visual consistency and quality.
  • Provide graphic design support to the local UI team.
  • Collaborate with other artists and team members while taking ownership of your own tasks.
  • Proactively contribute visual ideas and graphical solutions.

You consistently deliver polished, high-quality visual assets that strengthen the identity and presentation of our games.

You are able to take ownership of your work, understand the visual objective behind each request and transform it into an effective graphic solution.

You collaborate effectively with the team while also being comfortable working independently and proposing your own creative ideas.

Who you would be working with

You will work under the supervision of the Studio Lead UI Artist, collaborating with the local UI and art teams and supporting the creation of marketing and promotional materials for our games.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Strong graphic design fundamentals, particularly in composition, colour and visual production.
  • Strong knowledge of typography.
  • Professional experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
  • Experience with Figma.
  • Strong photomontage, image retouching and 2D visual effects skills.
  • Strong drawing and digital painting skills using a graphics tablet.
  • Ability to create original graphic compositions, including framing and camera angles.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently deliver polished, high-quality work.
  • Good knowledge of current visual and graphic trends across games, film, TV and digital media.
  • Good level of English.
  • An online portfolio demonstrating strong graphic design fundamentals, creativity and quality of execution. Please include it with your application.

  • Experience with Substance Painter.
  • Previous experience working on visual assets for video games.
  • Experience creating marketing or promotional assets for entertainment brands.
  • A strong personal interest in video games.
