What you will do:
- Develop a strong business partnership with the operations team and help drive accountability and attainment of key performance metrics
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate site financial performance versus budgets and forecasts
- Assist the Finance Operations Manager in development of Annual Operating Plan and monthly forecasts
- Use ERP and Hyperion systems to facilitate the daily, weekly, and monthly reporting of financial metrics
- Coordinate and execute month-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
- Evaluate capital expenditures, including project financial analysis, business case development, capital request approvals, spending tracking, and post-investment performance monitoring.
- Identify and implement process improvements that simplify workflows, improve data visibility, increase forecast accuracy, and enhance decision-making capabilities across the site.
How you will get here:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance preferred; degrees in Accounting, Economics, or other related business disciplines will also be considered.
Experience
- 0-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong analytical skills. Attention to detail and consistently delivering high-quality work
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Excel / PowerPoint / Outlook), experience using Oracle, HFM/CMR, SAP applications are preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong team building skills, cross functional collaboration
- Self-motivated, flexible and strong work ethic
- Continuous Improvement approach: Identify process and control gaps and champion improvement initiatives through Practical Process Improvement (PPI)

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $65,000.00–$75,000.00.
