About Reap
Reap is a global financial technology company headquartered in Hong Kong with employees across multiple countries. We enable financial connectivity and access for businesses worldwide by combining traditional finance with stablecoins for efficient money movement.
Through our stablecoin-powered corporate cards, payments, and expense management tools, we streamline financial operations and help businesses scale. Our APIs enable businesses to integrate stablecoin-enabled finance into their own products and services—from issuing Visa cards to facilitating cross-border payments.
Backed by leading investors including Acorn Pacific, Index Ventures and HashKey Capital, Reap is building the future of borderless, stablecoin-enabled finance.
Why Reap?
Payments are one of the Business Account's core products and the engine of money movement across the platform. Whether our customers are paying vendors and suppliers globally or receiving funds from their own clients, Payments provide the rails and the workflows that connect every financial activity they run with us. We are looking for someone to take full ownership of this product and carry it forward.
This is a chance to own a high-usage, high-stakes product end-to-end: the customer experience, the payment flows underneath it, the compliance and operational realities that shape them, and the roadmap that decides what comes next. You will set the direction, decide what matters most, and keep the experience feeling simple even as the complexity grows across markets, currencies, and entities.
The mandate here is broad on purpose. Our embedded finance team owns the core infrastructure, while you own the user experience and the distribution, and you carry real influence over where their roadmap goes. You will have direct access to leadership, room to shape strategy, and the space to make decisions that visibly move the product forward. If you want to own a meaningful product surface rather than a narrow slice of one, and you treat AI tools as part of your everyday toolkit, this is a strong fit.
Your Mission Awaits
- Own Payments end-to-end: Take full responsibility for Payments as a product, from strategy and discovery through delivery, iteration, and the operational follow-through that keeps payments moving. You define where the product goes and why, and you make sure it gets there.
- Set direction and prioritize: Build a clear point of view on what the product needs, decide what to do now versus later, and keep the roadmap focused on what genuinely matters for customers and for the business.
- Turn payment complexity into a clear experience: Work closely with engineering and design to translate onboarding, KYB and KYC, payee setup, approval chains, and multi-currency settlement into journeys that feel simple, reliable, and trustworthy for business customers.
- Partner with embedded finance on the rails: They own the core infrastructure and you own the experience and distribution on top of it, so a large part of this role is influencing their roadmap and making sure the flows work seamlessly across entities, currencies, and geographies.
- Keep the product compliant and reliable as it scales: Work with legal, compliance, risk, and our banking partners so the product stays sound against regional and global regulation, and balance speed with the rigor that payments demand.
- Measure what matters: Define and track the success metrics for the product, including adoption, retention, payment volume, and speed of payment, and use them to stay honest about what is and is not working.
- Partner across the organization: Work fluidly with engineering, design, compliance, operations, finance, and go-to-market teams to ship well and to keep the product healthy as it grows.
Your Superpowers
- 7 to 10 years of product management experience, with at least 5 years in fintech, payments, or SaaS platforms, including products you carried end-to-end rather than managed as a single feature.
- Proven track record launching and scaling complex payment products, such as cross-border, B2B, treasury or payment rails, and funding in and out.
- Direct experience with stablecoins, blockchain payment rails, or digital asset infrastructure. This one is required, not a nice to have.
- Strong grasp of multi-currency and multi-entity payment operations, and of what breaks when either of those scales.
- Technical fluency: you do not need to code, but you do need to speak payments and engineering credibly with the teams building the rails.
- Obsession with great user experience, with a track record of simplifying complex financial workflows without losing the rigor underneath.
- Analytical and strategic mindset, comfortable balancing a long-term view with rapid iteration in a fast-moving environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders and to earn trust through clarity and results rather than authority.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with card-to-bank payments, invoice financing, or FX settlement.
- Experience in early-stage startups or scaling organizations, ideally across multiple geographies.
- Knowledge of regional payment ecosystems, particularly APAC or LatAm, and the ability to navigate fragmented rails.
Why You'll Love it Here
- A high-impact role in a rapidly growing fintech startup
- Flexible hybrid work environment with a global, collaborative team
- Insurance coverage after probation
- Reap Card stipend
- Use of AI tools at work, and the space to learn, experiment, and grow with them
- A culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning
