Requires 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience with strong expertise in Spring Boot and microservices. Candidates must have solid experience with event-driven messaging systems like Kafka or Solace and proficiency in relational databases.

Full description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and Microservices following enterprise architecture and coding standards.
  • Design and implement event-driven and asynchronous applications using Kafka or Solace/MQ.
  • Develop Kafka producers/consumers, topics, partitions, consumer groups, and message-processing workflows.
  • Work with Solace PubSub+ / MQ for reliable messaging and event distribution, where applicable.
  • Implement business logic, data processing, error handling, and exception management.
  • Ensure applications are scalable, highly available, secure, and performant.
  • Participate in the complete SDLC including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot application, API, microservices, and messaging-related issues.
  • Collaborate with Architects, Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams.
  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.
  • Perform code reviews and contribute to technical design and architecture discussions.
  • Implement unit and integration testing using appropriate Java testing frameworks.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines and cloud/containerized application deployments where required.
  • 6+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Core Java, Java 8+, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Multithreading.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
  • Solid experience developing Microservices-based applications.
  • Strong experience developing REST APIs and service integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Kafka OR Solace/MQ.
  • Good understanding of event-driven architecture, asynchronous messaging, and distributed systems.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Experience with Git and standard software development practices.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
