Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Gdańsk or Warsaw
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week at the Client's office)
Rate: up to 120 PLN/h
About the Role:
For our Client in the banking industry, we are currently looking for an experienced Senior IT Project Manager.
Please note: Optiveum is the recruitment and contracting party for this position. We will sign the cooperation agreement directly with the chosen candidate.
Main Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end project execution from planning through closure.
- Plan and manage delivery activities including timelines, dependencies, resources, risks, and budgets.
- Facilitate governance activities and approval processes, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and report delivery progress, proactively identifying and escalating risks to ensure predictable execution.
- Champion change management and promote a strong delivery culture while adhering to core technology change processes.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in leading technology projects.
- Strong governance, planning, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
- Financial and resource management experience, including proficiency with project management tools.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable insights.
- Advanced presentation skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office suite.
- Languages: Native Polish and Fluent English.
Nice to have:
- Track record in banking or financial services projects.
- Good understanding of Information Security risks within financial organizations.
- Experience with application lifecycle management, vulnerabilities identification, and remediation.
- Relevant project management certifications.
- Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery environments.
