Business Analyst, Service Integrity & Resolution (12-Month Secondment)

We're looking for an experienced Insurance Analyst to join our team on a 12-month secondment opportunity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data, and partnering across teams to ensure quality insurance outcomes for our superannuation clients. You'll play an important role in analysing insurance-related enquiries, supporting product enhancements, and helping deliver an exceptional client experience.

What you'll be doing

  • Investigate, analyse and resolve complex insurance enquiries, ensuring outcomes align with fund-specific business rules and service level agreements.
  • Support insurance product enhancements, fund transitions and system changes by contributing to business analysis, functional reviews and testing activities.
  • Analyse data to identify issues, trends and opportunities, providing insights that support accurate application of insurance rules and product requirements.
  • Partner with internal technology teams and business stakeholders to deliver effective and efficient solutions that meet client and operational needs.
  • Participate in audits, quality assurance activities and governance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory, policy and GS007 requirements.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, service quality and risk management outcomes.
  • Collaborate closely with peers and broader teams to support problem solving, knowledge sharing and successful delivery of team objectives.

What you'll bring

  • Experience within the superannuation industry, particularly across insurance administration or insurance-related products.
  • A background in business analysis, financial services or a similar environment involving complex data and operational processes.
  • Exposure to data analysis tools and the ability to interpret data to identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong planning, organisational and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A collaborative mindset with a focus on quality, continuous improvement and delivering positive client outcomes.
