Overview

The Cybersecurity Lead provides lifecycle support for the Nuclear Biological and Chemical Sensor processing Group (NBCSPG), Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS), Chemical Biological Mass Spectrometer (CBMS) Block II, and Joint Services Lightweight Standoff Chemical Agent Detector (JSLSCAD) programs.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Risk Management Framework (RMF) maintenance activities, including artifact review and updates, vulnerability and Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) scans, control mitigation assistance, and Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) package updates as necessary for the NBCSPG, JBPDS, Chemical Biological Mass Spectrometer (CBMS) Block II, and JSLSCAD programs.
  • Perform yearly Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) reviews as required.
  • Provide daily Assessment and Authorization (A&A) updates through use of the internal cybersecurity portal as well as weekly activity report documentation.
  • Assist Package Submitting Office (PSO) with assessment packages entered into the required A&A processing system (e.g., the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
  • Plan, coordinate, and submit accreditation documentation requirements for mission and support software/applications as required.
  • Collect data to support reporting and IA management activities across the investment life cycle. Attend and assist in test events, cyber tabletops, and contractor reviews.
  • Facilitate and support activities such as Cybersecurity, Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM), and Net-worthiness.
  • Assist in documenting Cyber Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to coincide with Program IMS, designate and develop cyber baselines and tests.
  • Create documents for Authority to Operate (ATOs) and plan for cybersecurity protections to be implemented and provide oversight.
  • Develop ATOs and IATTs that focus on various elements of the program.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar Information Technology Field.
  • 7 years' experience in cybersecurity operations.
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Secret Clearance
