Full description

The Product Experience Analyst helps Homey understand and improve how clients, panel firms, and homebuyers experience our conveyancing platform. The role combines UI/UX analysis with direct client interaction — reviewing product usage, gathering feedback, identifying friction points, and translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations for the Product and Design teams. This is a client-facing role that also requires a strong eye for usability and interface design.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Product Experience Analysis

  • Analyse how users interact with Homey's platform to identify usability issues, drop-off points, and friction in key workflows
  • Review product analytics, session recordings, and usage data to surface patterns in user behaviour
  • Translate qualitative and quantitative findings into clear insights and improvement recommendations
  • Maintain a prioritised backlog of experience issues in collaboration with Product and Design

UI/UX Input & Collaboration

  • Review interface designs and prototypes, providing UX feedback ahead of release
  • Support the Design team with wireframes, user flows, or annotated mockups to illustrate proposed improvements
  • Conduct usability reviews and heuristic evaluations of existing and new product features
  • Help ensure consistency of user experience across web and any client-facing touchpoints

Client-Facing Engagement

  • Act as a direct point of contact for panel law firms, estate agents, and homebuyers on product experience matters
  • Conduct client interviews, walkthroughs, and feedback sessions to understand pain points and expectations
  • Present findings and proposed improvements to clients in a clear, professional, and reassuring manner
  • Build strong working relationships with key client stakeholders to support ongoing product feedback loops

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Managers to feed client and usability insights into the product roadmap
  • Partner with Engineering to validate that shipped features resolve the intended experience issues
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams to identify recurring experience-related concerns
  • Share client and usability insights with wider teams through regular reporting

Continuous Improvement

  • Keep up to date with UX best practice, accessibility standards, and PropTech industry trends
  • Suggest and help implement improvements to how Homey gathers and acts on client feedback
  • Contribute to a culture of user-centred thinking across the Product and Design teams
  • 1+ years of experience in a UX, product analyst, product experience, or client-facing product role
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, usability heuristics, and user-centred design practices
  • Comfortable analysing product usage data and translating it into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills, with confidence presenting to and engaging directly with clients
  • Experience with design/prototyping tools such as Figma, along with analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to balance client needs with product and business priorities
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and feedback streams at once

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience in a PropTech, fintech, or professional services technology environment
  • Familiarity with conducting usability testing and structured client research
  • Basic understanding of front-end concepts to communicate effectively with Engineering
  • Experience presenting UX or product insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Competitive Salary: Commensurate with experience. Paid in GBP with a UK contract.
  • Opportunities for high-level professional development and organizational influence.
  • Supportive work environment with a focus on work-life balance and employee well-being.
