Job Description

Job Title : Security Engineer

Location : Hyderabad, India

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Manager to lead the organization's threat intelligence program. This leader will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and communicating cyber threats that could impact Advance Auto Parts' stores, distribution centers, corporate systems, digital platforms, and third-party ecosystem.

The Cyber Threat Intelligence Manager will transform intelligence into actionable security outcomes by monitoring threat actors, emerging attack techniques, critical vulnerabilities, geopolitical risks, and industry-specific threats. The role will partner closely with Security Operations, Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Identity Security, Third-Party Risk Management, Technology Infrastructure, and Business Leadership to strengthen the organization's cyber resilience.

This position requires a strategic thinker who can operate at both executive and technical levels while managing intelligence operations, threat research, hunting initiatives, and intelligence-driven security improvements.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Lead and mature the enterprise Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) program, ensuring alignment with business priorities, cyber strategy, and risk management objectives.
  • Monitor, analyze, and assess emerging cyber threats, threat actors, ransomware groups, vulnerabilities, and geopolitical risks relevant to Advance Auto Parts.
  • Produce strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence to support executive decision-making, cybersecurity operations, and business resilience.
  • Partner with Security Operations, Incident Response, Threat Hunting, and Vulnerability Management teams to operationalize intelligence and enhance detection and response capabilities.
  • Drive intelligence-led vulnerability prioritization by assessing exploitability, threat actor activity, and potential business impact.
  • Deliver executive level threat briefings, risk assessments, and intelligence reports that translate complex threats into actionable proactive insights driven through to implementation.
  • Manage intelligence platforms, external intelligence feeds, industry partnerships, and information-sharing relationships to strengthen organizational awareness.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop threat intelligence personnel while establishing best practices, analytical standards, and continuous program improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 3 years focused on cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, incident response, or cyber defense.
  • Experience leading enterprise intelligence programs within a complex corporate environment.
  • Deep understanding of threat actor behaviors, attack methodologies, and cyber kill chain concepts.

  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CISA, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, PMP a plus
