Principal Software Developer Java

 

YOUR IMPACT

As a Principal Engineer, you will provide technical leadership and architectural expertise across multiple customer projects, guiding the design, development, integration, and delivery of complex enterprise applications. Working closely with cross-functional teams, architects, developers, and project stakeholders, you will establish engineering standards, drive solution quality, and mentor engineering teams. You will play a critical role in shaping scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions while remaining hands-on in development, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making.

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Define technical direction and engineering best practices across projects.
• Design secure, scalable, and integrated enterprise solutions.
• Lead architecture reviews, technical planning, and project estimation.
• Mentor engineers and elevate technical capabilities across teams.
• Drive code quality through reviews, standards, and process improvements.
• Troubleshoot complex cross-platform and cross-technology challenges.
• Partner with project teams to deliver high-quality customer solutions.

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• A minimum of 12 years of experience delivering enterprise software solutions.
• Proven ability to design end-to-end architectures for large-scale applications.
• Expert-level Java/JEE development experience with strong coding skills.
• Deep expertise in microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems, and relational databases.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams, mentor engineers, and influence architecture decisions.
• Experience with Agile development, test-driven development, code quality, and performance optimization.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and stakeholder management skills.
