We’re Hiring A Project Manager - Lead Projects, Drive Results, Deliver Impact!

Are you a highly organized and collaborative Project Manager who thrives on turning ideas into action? Do you enjoy bringing teams together, navigating competing priorities, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully from start to finish?

Work in office: 10%; Work from home: 90% for in-state employees; 100% remote for out-of state employees

Position Summary and Scope of Responsibilities:  

The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering assigned projects from initiation through closure while ensuring adherence to defined scope, timelines, and quality expectations. This role focuses on execution excellence, day-to-day project coordination, and clear communication with stakeholders. The Project Manager works closely with business partners, functional teams, and PMO Manager to translate approved business needs into actionable project plans, track progress, and manage risks and issues as they arise. 

The Project Manager is primarily accountable for managing 2-4 concurrent projects or well-defined initiatives, ensuring deliverables are completed as expected and aligned with organizational priorities. This role operates within established project management standards and methodologies and contributes to consistent, reliable project delivery across the organization. The Project Manager may also support technology enabled operational enhancements/IT releases scheduled on a monthly cadence. 

What You’ll Do:

Project Execution and Delivery 

  • Manage assigned projects through the full project lifecycle, from initiation to closure 
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders 
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and task assignments. Ensure documentation remains up to date. 
  • Track project progress and ensure deliverables are completed on time and within agreed scope 
  • Coordinate project activities across cross-functional teams and external partners 
  • Lead project meetings and ensure action items are documented and followed through upon 
  • Adjust project timelines and plans when priorities shift and communicate impacts clearly 
  • Lead project closure activities, including documentation, handoff, and lessons learned 
  • Document general business requirements as provided by business stakeholders  

Risk, Issue, and Change Management 

  • Identify project risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact delivery and communicate accordingly 
  • Implement mitigation strategies by working with key stakeholders and escalate risks and issues appropriately 
  • Manage scope changes through change control processes 

Stakeholder & Communication Management 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned projects 
  • Build strong working relationships with project stakeholders and team members 
  • Prepare and deliver clear, concise project status updates and reports 
  • Communicate project progress, risks, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership 

Collaboration and PMO Support 

  • Partner with PMO Manager to align projects with portfolio priorities and capacity 
  • Provide regular updates to PMO Manager, including risks, issues, and opportunities for improvement 
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices, templates, and tools 
  • Support consistent adoption of project management standards and methodologies 

Qualifications & Key Competencies: 

Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or similar. 

Experience/Knowledge: 

  • 3+ years of experience managing projects in a professional environment 
  • Manage projects with proven record of end-to-end management from planning through closure 
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) 
  • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority and influence project team members 
  • Experience with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) preferred 
  • Familiarity with sprint planning, storyboards, and backlog refinement preferred 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certifications are a plus 
  • Experience in healthcare or Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) preferred 
  • Works under minimal supervision with guidance available on complex decisions 
  • Perform other duties as assigned 

Technical & Professional Skills: 

  • Proficiency in project management software such as Smartsheet, JIRA, Asana, ServiceNow, Monday.com, etc. 
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks or projects concurrently 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and personalities 
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Willingness and desire to learn new skills
