Job Description

We are looking for a mid-level Mobile Developer who has hands-on experience building and shipping applications across both iOS and Android platforms.

We are looking for a doer—someone who can take ownership of a feature from understanding the requirement through development, testing, release, monitoring, and iteration. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently, solving problems end-to-end, and collaborating closely with product, design, backend, QA, and other engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain native iOS and Android applications.

• Build high-quality mobile experiences using Swift for iOS and Kotlin for Android.

• Take strong end-to-end ownership of features—from requirement clarification and technical design to implementation, release, and post-release improvements.

• Own and develop critical user journeys, including checkout and payment flows, cart, order placement, authentication, account management, and other core product experiences.

• Translate product requirements and designs into scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly mobile applications.

• Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other engineering teams

to deliver features on schedule.

• Identify technical challenges proactively and propose practical solutions.

• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.

• Debug production issues and provide timely fixes while minimizing regression risks.

• Improve application performance, stability, responsiveness, and overall user experience.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

• Write unit tests and, where appropriate, UI/integration tests.

• Monitor application health after releases and use logs, analytics, crash reports, and other signals to identify improvements.

• Contribute to technical documentation and architectural decisions.

• Stay current with developments in the iOS and Android ecosystems and introduce relevant improvements where appropriate.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of professional mobile application development experience.

• Strong hands-on experience with iOS development using Swift.

• Strong hands-on experience with Android development using Kotlin.

• Proven experience developing and releasing applications to production on both iOS and Android.

• Good understanding of native mobile application architecture and development practices.

• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, networking, authentication, and backend integrations.

• Experience working with Git and modern software development workflows.

• Strong understanding of mobile UI development and responsive user experiences.

• Experience with application debugging, profiling, crash analysis, and performance optimization.

• Good understanding of mobile security, data persistence, lifecycle management, and platform-specific constraints.

• Experience writing maintainable code with appropriate unit and integration testing.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Checkout & Payments Experience

Experience working on checkout or payment-related flows will be highly valuable.

Candidates should ideally have experience with areas such as:

• Cart and checkout journeys

• Payment gateway integrations

• Payment status and transaction handling

• Order creation and confirmation

• Handling success, failure, cancellation, and retry scenarios

• Deep links and payment redirects

• Secure handling of sensitive information

• Network failures, timeouts, retries, and edge cases

• Analytics and monitoring for critical conversion flows

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Location: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Form of employment: Full-time until further notice, we apply 6 months probationary employment.
