Position Summary Uniguest is a seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will set up Uniguest platforms to meet the business needs of our prospects in collaboration with the design team, technical team, sales teams, etc. Reporting to the VP, Technical Enterprise Solutions, this role will work directly with end-clients and resellers to conceptualize, create, and present solutions to engage with the future vision of assigned projects.
In this remote position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders for strategic projects; interacting with clients, product managers, and developers to envision, model, and provide initial models and UX/UI designs that can be built for evaluations. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to articulate and document the technical architecture for clients to show low-level details on how the solution will be deployed, including interfaces to other platforms and applications.
Primary Responsibilities
- Identify and document the requirements of the business and the stakeholders on strategic projects to create either a solution map tailored to a clients’ particular needs or products suited to meet the needs, including specific API’s and interfaces.
- Work with the Commercial teams, on positioning the product portfolio, technical specification, and SOW to be included in the proposals/agreements.
- Support the sales teams in the sales cycle to increase the conversion rate of projects.
- Work with professional services on the integration efforts between Uniguest and the end customer.
- Act as the system architect for UX/UI integration efforts with our clients when diagrams are needed.
- Respond to RFP / RFI as part of the bid team.
- Perform in-depth product demonstrations and communicate Uniguest values and differentiators to potential customers.
- Assist with small, ad-hoc UX/UI projects for live clients.
- Assist with training and certification of channel partners.
- Remain informed about the functional capabilities of the Uniguest product portfolio including the technical architecture.
- Understand the hospitality and overall technology industry trends and highlight how Uniguest takes advantage of modern technology and differentiators against the competition.
Experience & Skills
- Visual design skills to create graphics/menus to match end-client expectations.
- Command of the core concepts of HTTP, authentication-mechanisms, formal data structures.
- Experience working with UI/UX implementation in HTML/CSS or other is a plus.
- Proven technology skills, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail, plus analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consultant role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- A background in working with web API integrations.
- Prior experience/knowledge of one or more of the big cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
