Job Description

As a DevOps Engineer at Wix, you’ll play a pivotal role in our cloud infrastructure group, driving the development, optimization, and maintenance of our cloud-based infrastructure. You will:

  • Design, implement, and maintain high-scale production cloud infrastructure solutions for availability, performance and resilience
  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to ensure consistency and efficiency in deployment processes
  • Use your expertise in Linux and networking to enhance system performance, security, and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective cloud solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to cloud infrastructure and services affecting millions of users

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience working on live production systems
  • Proficiency in Linux and are well-versed in networking fundamentals
  • Excellent understanding of Kubernetes fundamentals and internals, including hands-on cluster administration
  • Excellent understanding of AWS fundamentals, including IAM, networking and most managed services
  • Strong knowledge of provisioning and configuration management systems (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, Chef, etc.)
  • Strong background with scripting languages like Python and Bash
  • Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
