Full description

The Project Manager will support the planning and execution of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget while adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, supplies, and vendors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, engineering, sales, marketing, and quality to support project scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, identifying variances and potential issues.
  • Co-ordinate with Plant Managers and other departments to resolve any issues.
  • Update the project status report daily, reviewing with customers on a regular basis. Compile and retain project documentation as needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, escalating information to appropriate departments as needed.
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers for outside processing steps (arrival, processing, expected return, etc.).
  • Co-ordinate with freight and invoicing for select customers. Follow through with carrier and customer to ensure pickup and delivery.
  • Administrative support to Sales and Operations as needed.
  • Self-starter with a team-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving collective goals.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, with 1 – 2 years’ experience working as a project manager in a manufacturing setting. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

  • Understanding of basic tooling and machining.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis in Excel and Project.
