We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Analyst
In this role, you will:
- The role holder will work in Risk and Compliance Transformation (RCT) which manages the Change the Bank investment portfolio and associated transformation activity on behalf of and across the Risk and Compliance function globally. It is accountable for the global, cross functional change agenda, delivering mandatory/regulatory and strategic change programme on behalf of Global Risk and Compliance, in partnership with regional teams and in support of business partner control needs. It designs, leads and delivers large scale, complex global change across multiple geographies and jurisdictions, impacting regions and business lines, including system, people and process changes, ensuring the change programmes adhere to the change standards laid out by HSBC and using mandated tools and methods.
- The Traded and Treasury Risk function has responsibility for risk management covering Markets and Security services and Treasury business. This is done in support of HSBC’s regions and global lines of business.
- Work as a BA/PM across the full programme lifecycle, with the capability to deliver change using a range of approaches, including both Agile and waterfall.
- Define project scope, set realistic timelines and lead project execution from initiation through closure.
- Oversee planning, execution and delivery of front to back projects working closely with Front Office, Product owners, IT, Analytics (Quants) teams, Architects and fellow change team to deliver project/program as per organization processes on time.
- Stakeholder management works closely with Product Owners and executes test cases before presenting to relevant stakeholders.
To be successful you will:
- Minimum 8 years of experience.
- Good understanding of the Market Risk framework, with knowledge of key risk measures including Value at Risk, Expected shortfall and Risk sensitivities
- Understanding of Greek based and Full revaluation VaR, FRTB IMA and SA calculations for market risk.
- Broad knowledge of asset classes and risk factors by products.
- Working experience of Regulatory programs like FRTB, IBOR, etc. would be a plus.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, governance, dependency and risk management.
- Expertise in working on Front-to-back Operating model, front-to-back Risk architecture setup.
- Strong communication skills and Senior stakeholder management
- Working experience of large Project / program delivery.Strong business analysis skill
- Industry certifications (CFA, FRM, PRM) would be a bonus.
