The Senior Product Line Manager, Women’s Value & Moderate Channels will serve as the internal PM lead for our women’s product categories in the Value and Moderate channels of distribution, North America DTC and Wholesale.

 

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Responsible for championing the women’s footwear product lines to cover the needs of moderate and moderate channel wholesale accounts and Cole Haan’s NA DTC channel.
  • Working closely with the category product creation teams, Buying and Planning, on channel capacity planning, understanding regional trends, pre-lining and synthesizing current account selling.
  • Intimate knowledge of account consumers, leading product zones and categories, pricing strategies and strategic objectives—partnering with the Product Creation Engine to adapt major strategies to channels and accounts and ensure all major growth opportunities are represented in the product line.
  • Work closely with DTC channel Buying & Planning and the category Product Management team to ensure marketplace harmony and maximize ideas, products, toolings, and intended lifecycle management strategies are maximized to company benefit and account growth.
  • Liaising with Product Creation to ensure the company has a comprehensive seasonal product plan for the value channel, covering varied price points and end uses.
  • Responsible for achieving seasonal financial targets—translated into unit volumes, average selling prices and margin contributions.
  • Serving as the representative for the value channel needs throughout key Go-To-market intersects including merch plan pass off, initial concept reviews, final line reviews, sales meeting and retail coordination. You must be the voice of the value consumer—as represented by intimate knowledge of customer-provided consumer insight and competitive and market data for your channel.
  • Working with cross functional teams (design, product line management, brand marketing, visual merchandising, etc.) to deliver the brand narrative to customers across DTC and wholesale channels.
  • Keen ability to understand customer preferences and what drives the consumer to purchase in moderate price channels.
  • Champion major seasonal brand stories in your channel—working with sales, marketing, and buying teams to bring stories to life within your retail channels. This will be manifested in the creation of seasonal Visual Line Plans and Seasonal Presentations. You will partner with sales in being a product knowledge champion for all products for your channels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 7+ years previous related experience in Merchandising and/or Product Management; experience in Value Channel required
  • Strong grasp of retail math
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience in SAP or PLM is preferred
  • Able to work proactively & independently
  • Demonstrated strong presentation skills required
  • Entrepreneurial working style
  • Ability to travel as needed

 

Base Salary/Hourly Range: From $120,000 to $135,000 annually*

Bonus Eligibility: Yes, eligible for annual target bonus based on company and individual performance
