About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Incident & Project Manager to drive and coordinate cross-functional security initiatives across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring the timely delivery of incident management, and operational security programs while maintaining transparency and alignment with both business goals and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have both proven Security Incident Management and direct Project Management experience, a solid understanding of cybersecurity operations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Incident Response Oversight: Support incident handling by managing timelines,
stakeholders, and documentation.
- Security Request Management: Triage incoming security requests, assign owners, and
ensure timely closure.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional security projects from planning through
execution, ensuring timely delivery and risk mitigation.
- Vulnerability Remediation: Coordinate and track remediation efforts across technical
teams.
- Process Improvement: Propose and implement improvements to enhance security
operations and compliance workflows.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date security policies, procedures, and
documentation repositories.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to enforce policies and ensure alignment
with security objectives.
- Communication: Facilitate meetings, provide project status updates, and brief
stakeholders regularly.
- Metrics & Reporting: Track KPIs, program health, and trends for leadership reporting.
- Additional Support: Assist security leadership with ad-hoc tasks and team initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Security Incidents & Project management experience, with at least 2 year
in Information Security or Cybersecurity.
- Strong understanding of security practices, security incident management, and
compliance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives across diverse teams.
- Skilled in developing and maintaining documentation and procedural controls.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge on Security Tools – SIEM, XDR, Zero Trust, etc.
- Experience with SOC 2, ISO 27001, or other compliance frameworks.
- Hands on handling in security incidents, control testing, and audit response
preparation.
- Experience working in SaaS, cloud-native, or B2B environments.
- Knowledge on utilizing AI tools / AI Agents
- Project Management Certification such as PMI or PRINCE2
