Overview

The Food Services Project Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of assigned contracts for adherence to contract requirements and company policies and procedures in the successful performance of assigned accounting units (AUs). This position is responsible for the fiscal performance of the AU(s) to promote maximum efficiency. This individual will be responsible for contract operations generating at least $2 million in revenue.

Role Requirements:

  • Experience:• Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in food service or a related field.
  • Must have a minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have advanced knowledge/experience of work described in contract operations.
  • Must meet eligibility requirements for work assignment on specified contract(s).
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple contract sites with varying services.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license in the state they reside, have a satisfactory driving record, and be insurable under the corporate policy.
  • Must be able to pass all required regulatory/security background screening.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide responsibility for the overall management and oversight of services provided through assigned contractual agreements.
  • Participate in RFPs and pricing negotiations for contract work.
  • Manage performance of the contract to promote maximum efficiency and achievement of established contractual requirements.
  • Maintain ongoing professional communication with contract points of contact in a manner that facilitates positive working relationships.
  • Ensure compliance to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, i.e., OSHA, EPA, DOL, FLSA, etc.
  • Manage fiscal performance to promote maximum efficiency and achievement of established financial goals.
  • Monitor and maintain program goals to meet organization and division expectations.
  • Promote, monitor, and maintain a safe work environment. Ensure all safety training is conducted, documented, and maintained for record via company requirements.
  • Interview, select, and train team members to enhance productivity and efficiency of the workforce.
  • Manage team members to promote maximum productivity, achievement of program goals, and favorable team member retention.
  • Perform standard supervisory administrative duties, including weekly scheduling, timesheets, expense reports, etc.
