SUMMARY
This role is responsible for defining, managing, and driving the strategy, roadmap, adoption, and commercial success of client-facing AI-enabled capabilities across Insperity's market-facing solutions. We are already building a platform that serves as the engine; this role is responsible for translating AI capabilities into differentiation, client value, user adoption, and commercial outcomes. Serving as the bridge between enterprise AI capabilities and client-facing products and Solutions, this role identifies meaningful client problems, defines opportunities to address those problems through AI capabilities, prioritizes capabilities, and shapes experiences that deliver measurable business value for clients and Insperity. The role does not own enterprise AI strategy, governance, model development, or platform architecture. Instead, it focuses on converting enterprise AI capabilities into products, experiences, and workflows that create tangible value for clients and measurable business outcomes for Insperity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Strategy & Market Development
- Establishes and maintains the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for assigned client-facing AI capabilities, ensuring alignment with enterprise AI strategy and overall business strategy, solution priorities, business goals, responsible AI principles, and market needs.
- Identifies and prioritizes opportunities to apply AI-enabled capabilities to client workflows, experiences, and outcomes, balancing client value, business impact, operational feasibility, and strategic alignment.
- Partners with Enterprise AI Strategy & Solutions and Technology teams to understand available and emerging AI capabilities and determine where they should be applied to create client value.
- Coordinates with Enterprise Analytics and partners across the organization to perform customer, market, and competitor research to identify user needs, market trends, and opportunities for AI-enabled differentiation.
- Conducts market analyses and develops business cases to identify opportunities for cost savings, productivity gains, client value creation, solution differentiation, and revenue growth associated with assigned client-facing AI capabilities.
- Identifies key requirements, adoption considerations, trust considerations, and success measures that should inform development, launch, commercialization, and ongoing enhancement plans.
End-to-End Product Ownership
- Serves as the accountable Product Manager for assigned client-facing AI capabilities throughout the product lifecycle, from opportunity identification and concept development through launch, optimization, and retirement.
- Defines target users, use cases, customer needs, business outcomes, requirements, success metrics, and roadmap priorities for assigned AI-enabled capabilities.
- Uses an understanding of the broader solution strategy to inform product roadmaps, investment priorities, adoption plans, and commercialization approaches.
- Applies product management frameworks, customer insights, usage data, and business analysis to make prioritization and roadmap recommendations.
- Coordinates with Solution Managers, Product Managers, Technology teams, Service Operations, and Enterprise AI Strategy & Solutions to ensure AI-enabled capabilities are integrated into broader client experiences and solution offerings.
- Balances innovation, user value, operational readiness, risk considerations, and business objectives when making product recommendations.
Commercial Success & Product Performance Management
- Drives adoption, utilization, and commercial success of assigned client-facing AI capabilities.
- Develops and monitors measures of product success, including adoption, engagement, customer satisfaction, business impact, operational effectiveness, and commercial performance.
- Monitors usage patterns, client feedback, and market developments to identify opportunities for optimization and expansion.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of AI-enabled capabilities in solving client problems and achieving intended business outcomes.
- Partners with Finance, Sales, Marketing, Service Operations, and Solution Management to assess investment effectiveness and identify opportunities to improve value realization and market positioning.
Decision Authority & Governance
- Serves as the primary product decision-maker for assigned client-facing AI capabilities within established approval and governance frameworks.
- Makes recommendations regarding roadmap priorities, feature investments, launch sequencing, adoption approaches, and enhancement opportunities.
- Escalates decisions involving enterprise AI strategy, governance, technology architecture, privacy, legal, compliance, security, or significant investment tradeoffs to the appropriate stakeholders.
- Partners with Enterprise AI Steering & Governance, Enterprise AI Strategy & Solutions, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Security, and Technology teams to ensure AI-enabled capabilities align with enterprise policies and standards.
- Ensures product decisions appropriately balance client value, business objectives, operational considerations, and responsible AI principles.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution
- Collaborates with Product Management, Solution Management, Enterprise AI Strategy & Solutions, Technology, Service Operations, Legal, Compliance, Privacy, Security, Sales, Marketing, Finance, GPO, and Enterprise Analytics to define and deliver AI-enabled client experiences.
- Partners with Technology teams to translate product priorities and user requirements into implementable capabilities while ensuring product intent remains aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitates alignment among stakeholders regarding priorities, tradeoffs, launch plans, adoption strategies, and success metrics.
- Leads cross-functional initiatives associated with development, rollout, adoption, measurement, and ongoing optimization of assigned client-facing AI capabilities.
- Communicates product vision, roadmap priorities, expected outcomes, and performance results to leadership and stakeholders.
Market, Client & Sales Enablement
- Represents the voice of the client and market in the design and evolution of assigned client-facing AI capabilities.
- Engages clients, prospects, Service Operations, Sales, and other stakeholders to understand workflow challenges, unmet needs, adoption barriers, and opportunities for value creation.
- Partners with Sales and Marketing to develop positioning, messaging, enablement materials, and go-to-market approaches for AI-enabled capabilities.
- Helps define how AI-enabled capabilities support solution differentiation, client outcomes, retention, and growth objectives.
- Supports internal stakeholder understanding of AI-enabled capabilities, intended use cases, client value propositions, and success measures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or related work experience is required.
- Master’s Degree (MBA or equivalent) is desired.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in product management, product strategy, or service design/delivery/management.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in matrixed organizations.
- Experience leading product, solution, service, or digital capability initiatives involving automation, analytics, AI-enabled functionality, or emerging technologies.
- Experience managing AI-enabled products, digital experiences, workflow automation, decision-support capabilities, or conversational experiences.
- Familiarity with AI product governance, responsible AI principles, privacy considerations, and enterprise adoption challenges.
- Experience evaluating product opportunities involving AI, automation, or emerging technologies.
- Experience with HR solutions, enterprise software, or tech‑enabled services.
- Strong understanding of customer needs and ability to translate them into product direction.
- Understanding of how AI-enabled capabilities can be applied to solve business and customer problems.
- Ability to evaluate AI opportunities through the lens of customer value, business impact, operational feasibility, and risk.
- Ability to communicate AI concepts and capabilities in practical business and customer terms.
- Understanding of responsible AI considerations, including transparency, privacy, security, compliance, and trust.
- Aptitude to accept complex assignments, analyze problems, and generate effective solutions. Ability to apply a systematic method to problem solving, analyze data, and recommend strategies that support positive business results.
- Strong analytical abilities, results oriented nature, the ability to manage multiple projects, work independently or as part of a team, and plan, organize and complete assignments timely.
