The Retail Solutions Effectiveness team is accountable for defining and leading sales solutions design strategy across the retail bank. The team will be responsible for delivering an end-to-end sales journey and sales effectiveness strategy to optimize sales performance, drive consistency, and strengthen client relationships. Our work enables Retail colleagues to operate with clarity, confidence, and a customer first mindset. Our Sales Support Manager role will support strategy & execution of key Retail programs.
The Sales Support Manager I provides leadership in corporate sales focused efforts, including the development, stewardship and day-to-day management of corporate program sales strategy designed to enhance sales performance throughout the Retail network.
Depth & Scope:
- Manages the day-to-day responsibilities of an assigned budget
- Provides store level communication and results reporting for Retail Sales Programs under direct management
- Develops staffs analytical capability and seeks opportunities to enhance staff skills and proficiencies through training, practice and/or outside education
- Provides dedicated company-wide support and day-to-day oversight of various Retail Sales Programs activities in support of the store network achieving financial business objectives
- Works with Retail management to plan, forecast and analyze short and long-term sales development strategies, financial goals and programs
- Provides or assigns appropriate analysis, planning, and reporting resources to development, monitoring and after-action review of Retail Sales Program results and reviews findings with appropriate management
- Meets regularly with business line leaders to determine sales priorities; develops sales enhancement alternatives, presents them to executive management and business lines and formulates decisions and plans
- Ensures existing sales incentive and promotional programs are administered accurately and according to established plan rules and guidelines
- Coordinates Company and outside resources needed to support sales development activities
- Participates in special projects as required
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
- 5-7 Years of related experience
- Demonstrated strategic and creative thinker
- Strong project management experience including meeting deadlines and staying within budget
- Broad knowledge of sales development techniques, administration and goal setting
- Strong communication skills
- Experience delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution (Preferred)
- Strong business analysis and requirements management capabilities (Preferred)
- Ability to work effectively across technology, platform, and delivery teams to drive results (Preferred)
- Experience operating within Agile or Scaled Agile environments (Preferred)
- Strong execution, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills (Preferred)
- Ability to influence cross-functional partners and deliver outcomes in a dynamic environment (Preferred)
