Responsible for driving the technical & operational support of business users of the Pega Marketing (NBI) platform (70%), leading the integration of both quantitative and qualitative data to generate actionable insights that drive the business and strategic decision-making impacting the business (30%).
This role involves leveraging analytical techniques and technical expertise to support innovative solution design, advanced problem-solving, and acting as a key cross-functional leader within the organization. The analyst will serve as a vital connector between technical and business teams, combining deep analytical expertise with a comprehensive understanding of NBI Program functionality, which includes both the systems and processes that support the direct marketing delivered through Pega/Salesforce. Insights generated will inform strategic and operational Marketing NBI program decisions, optimize existing platform features, and ensure that new functions and capabilities meet rigorous technical standards while adapting to evolving business user needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead collaboration with business users, Marketing leadership, and other key NBI stakeholders to assess user and program needs and translate into thoughtful solution designs that are aligned with the organization's broader business objectives. Includes business user issue resolution and action troubleshooting.
- Skillfully translate complex ideas, concepts and solutions into narratives that effectively build consensus around need, solutions/recommendations, and next steps to a broad set of stakeholders with varying levels of technical expertise.
- Lead and partner with stakeholders to establish strategies and best practices for utilizing the NFCU Martech stack to deliver on business and member needs while generating efficiencies in operations and process.
- Lead efforts to collect, analyze, and synthesize large and complex datasets, identifying patterns, trends, and actionable insights to identify opportunities in the business strategy, operations, or the technology, and develop recommendations/solutions to address those opportunities.
- Guide the team in utilizing advanced data analytics tools and methodologies to track, evaluate, and optimize performance related business outcomes, member engagement, business user experience, and overall process efficiencies with targeted outcomes that enhance Marketing effectiveness, member experience, and business user experience.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing stakeholders to ensure that opportunities identified by business users or from performance data are effectively communicated and translated into actionable strategies or solution designs that address business/member needs.
- Mentor and guide lower level professionals on Pega NBI best practices, technical concepts, business context and understanding of the data.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience and increasing levels of responsibility working in the analytics, or technology/technology adjacent roles required. Employment experience within the Financial Services and/or Marketing field desired/preferred.
- 3+ years of Pega Experience required, 2+ of Pega Decisioning desired/preferred, combination of certifications and training will be considered
- Deep understanding of technical, analytical, mathematical/statistical, and AI/Automation concepts like: navigating Data Lake/Data Warehouse, conceptual understanding of API/ETL, familiarity with predictive analytics/models, and proficiency in agentic solution development.
- Proficiency in tools and environments such as Azure, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, large language model, CoPilot suite of applications, and product analytics platforms.
- Leads collaboratively with advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Deep knowledge of solution design both inside and outside of Pega and drives automation concepts.
- Mentors others and effectively influences collaboration across teams.
- Advanced communication skills, with a proven ability to convey complex/technical concepts to and data-driven insights to diverse stakeholders leveraging verbal, written, and presentation mediums..
- Demonstrates exceptional ability to foster collaboration across diverse teams and with vendors, effectively managing expectations and cultivating strong, strategic relationships that drive successful outcomes.
- Ability to drive complex, high-impact projects; mentor and develop cross-functional teams; and influence strategic organizational decisions through advanced data analysis and insights.
- Leads and coordinates multiple strategic initiatives independently and within cross-functional teams, leveraging advanced organizational, planning, and time management skills to drive collective success and achieve overarching goals.
- Bachelor's degree in technical field, or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience; Master's/advanced Degree or certifications preferred.
