About the Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Full Stack WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining dynamic WordPress websites with both front-end and back-end expertise. You will collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-centric websites.
  • Implement custom functionality using PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Optimize website performance, scalability, and security.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and tools into WordPress sites.
  • Manage databases (MySQL) and ensure smooth back-end operations.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (design, marketing, product) to deliver project requirements.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, and web development trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Backend WordPress Developer (3+ years).
  • Strong proficiency in:
  • WordPress (themes, plugins, custom post types, hooks, filters)
  • PHP, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery
  • HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, Tailwind (or similar frameworks)
  • MySQL database management
  • Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git/GitHub).
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and website optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

Location: Hybrid Media works, First Floor, Plot # 176 Korang Road, near Rahat Bakers, I-10/3, Islamabad.
