Job Description
What is the Opportunity?
We are seeking a visionary and highly technical Senior Product Manager to oversee the roadmap, product ownership, and development of an Internal Developer Platform tailored for wealth management data and analytics. This role requires a strong balance of technical expertise, data-driven decision-making, and exceptional stakeholder management skills, with a focus on leveraging wealth data to drive business outcomes.
What will you do?
- Product Ownership & Roadmap Development: Define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the unique needs of developers working with wealth management data.
- Standards & Controls: Establish and enforce platform standards, governance, and controls to ensure security, scalability, compliance, and data integrity for sensitive wealth data.
- Infrastructure & Platform Design: Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of platform infrastructure, adapting to evolving client requirements in the wealth management space.
- Data-Driven Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, particularly in analyzing wealth data and applying it to business solutions, while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
- Sprint Planning & Execution: Actively participate in sprint planning meetings to discuss requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of features that enhance data analytics capabilities.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, effectively communicate the product vision, and gain buy-in from stakeholders at all levels, emphasizing the business impact of wealth data initiatives.
What do you need to succeed?
Must have:
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining developer platforms or related infrastructure, with a strong focus on wealth data management and analytics.
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software engineering, infrastructure development, and data analysis, particularly in the context of wealth management.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, particularly in Extreme Programming practices and data-driven development.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and align diverse stakeholders around wealth data initiatives.
- Creative thinker with a visionary mindset, capable of anticipating future needs and driving innovation in wealth management technology.
Nice to have:
- Experience with SEI or other wealth management platforms/tools with a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and sprint planning, with a focus on data-centric product development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical and data-related issues.
- Ability to balance technical depth with strategic thinking to deliver impactful results in wealth data analytics.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $120,000-$200,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.
